SFPL Gardeners
Spring is here! And as you know, April Showers bring May Flowers. Make sure that your gardens are ready.
The SFPL Gardeners’ Seed Library had vegetable and flower seeds available. Come and take a look to see what is available. And if you happen to have any extra seeds, feel free to donate them for someone else to plant in their garden!

On May 16, we will visit the Fresh Air Farm and Garden Stand on 81 Perry Street. Barbara Hickson will do a little show and tell, time and weather permitting. If it pours rain, we will stay inside and swap seeds and stories. Do check the Fresh Air Facebook Page (Click Here) and admire all the tomato varieties they have!

Writer’s Accountability Group
Monday’s 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm
Looking for a cozy spot to write in our community? Join freelance writer Leah Allen-Manning for a weekly writers’ accountability group! Whether you’re writing essays, short stories, poems, or the next Great American Novel, all are welcome.
Bring your own work or respond to an optional writing prompt to get started. (Note this is not a workshop, so sharing your writing with the group is completely optional.)
This program is for grownups. If you find that disappointing, please reach out to Justin at jsnook@cwmars.org with the age of interested participants and we’ll see if we can collect enough to get a youth writing group started.
