Cookbook Collective

The Cookbook Collective will be taking the summer off. We look forward to seeing you again in September!

Love trying new recipes? Curious about different cuisines? Join us for the Cookbook Collective at the library! Each month we explore a new theme, share our cooking adventures, and—best of all—taste test each other’s creations. Whether you’re a kitchen newbie or a seasoned home chef, this is your chance to swap tips, discover new flavors, and connect with fellow food lovers. Bring a dish you’ve made from the month’s theme and an appetite for good conversation!

Contact Lisa at lsoffey@cwmars.org or call the library at 508-476-2695 for more information.

Fiber Arts Friends
2nd and 4th Wednesdays 5:45 pm to 7:45 pm

If you are interested in rug-hooking, knitting, quilting, or any sort of fiber crafting, come join Heather Parker and Jennifer Ashworth’s Fiber Arts Friends!

You can come to learn, teach, chat, or just fiddle with your own fiber arts in a social setting.

Writer’s Accountability Group
Monday’s 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm

Looking for a cozy spot to write in our community? Join freelance writer Leah Allen-Manning for a weekly writers’ accountability group! Whether you’re writing essays, short stories, poems, or the next Great American Novel, all are welcome.

Bring your own work or respond to an optional writing prompt to get started. (Note this is not a workshop, so sharing your writing with the group is completely optional.)

This program is for grownups. If you find that disappointing, please reach out to Justin at jsnook@cwmars.org with the age of interested participants and we’ll see if we can collect enough to get a youth writing group started.
