Election – Mayor of Douglas

Douglas is looking for a new Mayor.

We have six exciting candidates that are can’t wait to share their ideas with you! Once you get to know the candidates, you will be able to visit the Museum on Main Street Exhibit at the Municipal Center Gymnasium or the Simon Fairfield Public Library to cast your ballot.

Bald-E

Bald-E is our highest-flying candidate in the bunch! He promises he will always keep an eye on everything going on!

Dougie Bear

Dougie Bear has just wandered out of the Douglas State Forest and is all about keeping things nice and chill!

Triceratina

Triceratina has emerged from under the Douglas Common, where she has been hibernating for millions of years!

Chirri Cheetah

Chirri is a biker, runner, climber, dancer…pretty much any kind of mover! She loves to move and to play!

Puffy McPloof

Puffy McPloof’s biggest dream is to connect all the ponds and lakes in Douglas into one giant waterpark! After all, she loves to go swimming!

Sir Gooseneck Ganderfield

Sir Gooseneck Ganderfield is a high class goose known for his fancy parties and high fashion! He only wants Sunday Best for Douglas!

The Dark Horse

The changing season has brought more than just Oktoberfest to Douglas…from the woods behind the library, a Dark Horse emerged and threw his hat into the race for Mayor of Douglas.

He doesn’t have much to say other than “Neigh!”
