Do you want FREE access to books, e-books, magazines, movies, music, audiobooks, e-audiobooks, discount museum passes, and more? You should get a library card!

Getting a library card is easy, free, and fun. Just show up with a photo ID that has your current address. If you don't have one, then bring a bill with your current address. We'll ask you a few painless, non-intrusive questions, and then give you a card. Children under 14 will need a parent or guardian's approval.
But wait! There's more! Your library card goes far beyond Douglas. It is a gateway to over 170 libraries throughout Central and Western Massachusetts. You get access to all their stuff, too. That's more than 2.5 million things which can be delivered right to our circulation desk for you to pick up. Again, all this is free. What are you waiting for?
