Oktoberfest started drizzly but cleared up with exception of one brief mid-day shower. Just to be on the safe side, though, we kept the book sale indoors. The Friends of the Library raised $429.64 from their book sale and we sold 28 more knife raffle tickets.
Our front door counter says we had 943 visitors. And for the first time ever, nothing was left at the Library! No shirts, no umbrellas, no wallets, no bowls of chili, and no phones! Congratulations, Douglas, and thanks for another fun festival.
