Adult Book Clubs Back in Person

faceless lady reading book in street

In case you missed it, our adult book clubs are meeting in person again. I know a lot of regulars stopped attending in the social distancing era because–let’s be honest–Zoom just ins’t the same. So if you are looking to get back into a lively discussion group, interested in joining one for the first time, or just looking for any excuse to tip your toe back in the water of human contact and interaction, we’ve got two options for you!

The Intrepid Readers meet monthly on Tuesday evenings to talk about books and eat desserts inspired by the title. The next meeting is July 13 at 6:30 pm and the book is The Language of Butterflies by Wendy Williams.

The Greatest Book Club Ever also meets monthly to discuss books that have been adapted into films. Their next meeting is July 22 at 6:30 pm and the book they’ve chosen is Nomadland by Jessica Bruder.

Copies of both of these titles are available at the Library for pickup in both print and audio, so don’t be shy! Book people are the best people to be around.
